I can answer that one. I am currently in Irvine CA for business. I reside in MA. This is my first trip to the West Coast. The only description I can give of the mountains I've seen this week (between rain storms) is...Holy Crap! I'll be taking lots of photos this weekend. (If I can tear myself away from The Irvine Spectrum.)

I'm heading for the Spectrum soon. I must say I don't like this cold weather but this shall pass. What a great place to live here IMO.

Not to make fun of Californians but....I must say I get a laugh when the TV news Infobabes start complaining about the temps being at 39 degrees when they go out to start their car.

I'm from New England. Lived there most of my life. To me, 39 degrees means that the snow and crusted ice on your car will scrape off real easy and mostly slide right off. That's just light jacket weather.
I will say...if I could convince the Missus....I could live here easily too. Irvine is a beautiful city.
