LOL!

Trust me ~~ all they wanted was food for the gossip mill.
Most of them have nothing better to do than talk about each other. So they do.

And if you ever want to write your life story, I’ll be first in line to get a copy!

“I was born. I went to school. I went to college. I got married, worked for an insurance company, and had kids. Then I had more kids.” If there’s another episode, I’ll let you know ;-).

"DP broke a fingernail and had to go to the nail salon at Walmart to get it fixed so he can play the guitar tomorrow. A Korean family owns it; they go to our church."

I'm working on this, but it mystifies me.

How did a Korean family end up owning DP's fingernail?

Now you know why I so carefully craft my statements.

I have a lot of people gunning for me.

What picture. I didn’t see a picture? Where the picture. Did I say that three times. I didn’t mean to say it three times. That would be overly redundant. Wouldn’t it now?

I am amazed of the conciseness of the statement. I is not like many of those who write novels.

Titanic story line. .The ship sunk.

War and Peace story line. The French lost, (with commentary) agian.

How did a Korean family end up owning DP's fingernail?

They won it in the raffle at the festival last fall.

The tacos were just fine, but Tom’s a disaster in the kitchen! I volunteered to clean up if DP would get all the children to bed by 8:00 p.m. When he turned up in the bedroom at 7:45, saying he was going to take a shower (and all the boys were still up) I said, “Fine. I’ll go to bed with Wednesday and the Ann Coulter book, and you can spend your evening with Bill and Tom. See you tomorrow!” Suddenly he realized I was series ...

I need to go sit with Ash, now. She’s missing Anoreth. I’ll see all of you at the new location tomorrow.

"I am amazed of the conciseness of the statement."

I think of myself as not merely a craftsman of words, but a mechanic of meaning.

For example, the word "concise" has two parts; con- means with-, and -cise means -cut or shear. Same root as "incisive" or "incision", and possibly related to "scissors".

Anyway, concise means "with cutting", thus demonstrating that while brevity may be the soul of wit, the soul of brevity is sarcasm.

I take it you’re feeling “normal,” again. I hope!

More or less. Not sure why I'm dealing with jetlag for a trip that only took me two timezones away, but I'm waking up really early these days. Maybe it's unconscious preparation for the coming 9-hour shift.

Other than that, fine -- and two weeks from today I'm home... for an uncertain time. It was going to be two months, but our sales folks want me to visit St. Louis sometime soon. (Hey, if it boosts sales, this is A Good Thing!)

Nobody ever wants to hear my life story!

Have you written the happy ending yet? ("And they lived happily everlastingly after." *\;-) Ummm... maybe I don't want to touch this. (FReepmail me and I'll read it. Then you get read an episode of mine. *\:^)

Then again, the sionnsareens and I went to see "Defiance" today (the reason for my several hours' absence) before it went out of the theaters.

O...M...G... I have no doubt they dressed-up a true story a bit, but it's still a must-see. (Graphic violence warning.) The denouement comes after the end, in the text telling what happened "after" -- the main hero exhibits humility of an order I cannot imagine. This story should have been told while he was alive, but better later than never.

And what a contrast to "Valkyrie" which I saw yesterday.

Read the book - I think the one I read was just called “The Bialski Brothers.”

We may rent the movie eventually, but I really can’t stand the lead actor, whatsisface. He looks just like Vladimir Putin.
