It has been shown that Jr lied in his book and neglected to even mention that his mother actually left his father not the reverse. It has also been proven that people would much rather bury their heads in the sand than to actually discover the true facts about Jr and his life they would rather blindly accept that what Jr has written and what the media propose is the truth when it isn’t! Excuse me, but many Americans are more willing to live by truth, justice and the American way but if you want to roll over and play dead then leave these threads and quite posting links to FactCheck and FighttheSmears. Do you really have an explanation as to why the fact that Jr held dual citizenship from birth was not posted at FighttheSmears UNTIL after the election? Do you have an explanation as to why the news of Madelyn Dunham’s death ocurred the 2nd of November but the news wasn’t released until it could be announced for the evening broadcasts on Nov.3rd? Do you have an explanation as to why the purported photos posted at FactCheck were taken March 20, 2008 and yet they clearly show two fold marks while the same purported certificate at FighttheSmears was posted June 12,2008 and yet shows only one fold mark? Do you really like being led around by a ring in your nose or would you like to know the truth? I suspect that you prefer to be amongst those for whom the phrase:”There are none so blind as those who do not see” is a fitting metaphor to describe you! Did you fail to notice “...defending the constitution” in your magnamious claim that you fear that Free Republic will be ridiculed because of the tinfoil hat birthers, who are defending the constitution by continuing to do the proper research that the presstitutes in the msm failed to do! It takes much more than reading an “autobiography” to vet candidates for the position of President and CIC and citizens of the U.S were failed miserably which means they have had to do their own research. I live in a city whose public library is blessed with a wonderful "history room" which contains old books, magazines, ephemera, newspaper clippings, aerial photos, and telephone directories. In an adjoining room are parcel books and insurance maps, which are very old and very detailed. These are the primary sources so essential to researchers. Looking through these old scraps one can find many things overlooked by most journalists. It's tedious to have to plow through all this old stuff, but those who do so are richly rewarded. It's like panning for gold.

I don’t believe that having to look through two years of city directories would take as much time as I have spent researching various aspects of Jr’s life and family and others associated with him. I definitely recognize the value of research and its historic value and it helps that I was at loose ends once I shattered my upper right arm. Doing research made time not hang so heavy for me! Since Jr has such little idea of how important history is he will more than likely repeat the mistakes of the past. The presstitutes who hail Jr as their saviour couldn’t be bothered to properly vet or research him to the detriment of the American citizens!
If I didn’t live 12 plus hours from Seattle I would be there in a heartbeat to do the research and I would go any other place to research as well!

So what if Obama got the details wrong of how his parents parted? We're talking about events that happened when he was 1-2 years old fer Chrissake. Nobody cares.

There's nothing wrong with Factcheck. True, they were biased in that they tended to correct errors coming out of the McCain camp more often than errors coming out of the Obama camp. However, their reputation for accuracy is spotless. If you can name an example where they posted a outright falsehood, or perpetrated an outright fraud, then I'm all ears.

First of all, the factcheck photo was posted on August 21. I saw no indication it was taken on March 20. What makes you think it was taken on that date?

You do realize it is possible to obtain multiple official copies of the document from the state, and each one is just as valid for proving the location and date of birth as the original vault copy. It would not surprise me in the least if the Obama campaign had several official copies. They probably kept one at their headquarters, which is the one they scanned onto their website, and they sent another to Factcheck and other media outlets.

But I bet you never thought of that, did you? Oh no, it's much more fun to go making up conspiracy theories about frauds.
