I've taken this since 1995 and swear by it!!! My dogs also take a MUCH smaller dose (after the initial saturation dosage for the first week of taking, I now take 4 small tablets a day and my dogs (4) split one tablet at dinner between them). MY DACHSHUND JAMES JUST CELEBRATED HIS 17TH BIRTHDAY, YESTERDAY!!!
Here's where I get mine: www.roex.com THIS IS ALL TRUE. Great for allergies, cardiac, skin, and over all health issues. Helps to hold vitamin C in your system longer. Vit C is essential in the production of collagen and that means the appearance of younger more beautiful skin!

Grapeseed extract simply helps your body help itself. It aides in giving your body the tools to work more efficiently and effectively. Our bodies are programmed to heal, but as we age & the environment we live in & the stress we hold are all factors in our loss of our body's natural abilities to heal itself.
Do something really good for your body in 2009 - this is a Resolution to Keep!
p.s. I make nothing for having said this. I take it, and believe in it 100%, so I'm passionate about it. They are small, easy to take supplements. Watch the purity factor of whatever brand you take. As always, some companies try to save $ by cheaping out in the purity levels. Roex gives you 95% purity. That's why they call theirs PC-95 (procyanadin sp?) and why I take it.

Grapeshot is deadly.
By Heather S. Oliff, PhD
Grape Seed Extract Optimizes Blood Pressure, Enhances Endothelial Function, and Decreases Oxidative Stress The C12 peptide is not the only natural agent that effectively supports healthy blood pressure levels. Grape seed extract, which is already known to confer a wealth of health benefits, contains high concentrations of polyphenols, potent antioxidants that naturally increase blood vessel dilation. This dilation naturally increases blood flow while decreasing blood pressure.
A recent study sought to ascertain the effects of administering grape seed extract to prehypertensive subjects. Twenty-four patients with a mean blood pressure of 130/79 mmHg were treated for four weeks with either placebo or 150 mg or 300 mg of a standardized, polyphenol-rich grape seed extract. Both doses of grape seed extract significantly reduced the subjects blood pressure compared to baseline levels. The researchers thus concluded that grape seed extract may be beneficial in lowering the blood pressure of people who are prehypertensive.
In addition to benefiting individuals with prehypertension, grape seed extract may help to improve impaired endothelial function, an initiating factor in heart disease. In an important laboratory study, grape seed extract helped to inhibit the synthesis of a protein associated with endothelial dysfunction and mortality, while also promoting the dilation of blood vessels. These findings led the researchers to propose that grape seed extract may be a critical nutrient for restoring impaired endothelial function and thus protecting against cardiovascular disease, Americas number-one killer.
