Have you seen the new Pepsi logo? It's also all over the NBC sporta desk tonight where Olberbite & Costas are sitting. Not that I ever drank it but no more Pepsi for me.

It might have been helpful to offer some clue of what you’re talking about for people who haven’t been watching NBC tonight. I just had to google “new Pepsi logo” myself, and now I remember noticing this on the last can I got out of a vending machine a few days ago. So they changed the shapes in their tri-colored circle. Who cares? Is there something offensive about this I’m missing?

Pepsico has always been the most liberal soda mfgr. and this logo looks a lot like Obama. Screw Pepsi!
You have GOT to be kidding me. Obama Derangement Syndrome has officially set in. Pepsi’s logo has ALWAYS been a red, white and blue circle, since long before Obama came on the scene. All they did was change the shapes of the colors, and you have to turn the stupid thing upside down to even see the similarity. Give me a break.

Yep, noticed this awhile ago. My Family has always made jokes about Pepsi=Dems and Coke=Repubs. Not entirely accurate but we have fun with it anyway.
So, are we upset became Pepsi is supposedly trying to mimic the Obama logo, or because they’re supposedly trying to mimic some sort of Islamic scimitar or crescent? Let’s all get on the same outrage page here.

All sodas contain Sodium Benzoate, a carcinogen that makes lesions on the livers of rats even gourmet pure sugar brands.
all diet sodas contain Aspartame, a carcinogen that makes lesions in the brains of rats. Some people cannot tolerate Aspartame.
All non diet sodas contain unsafe levels of sugar.
Most non-gourmet sodas contain HFCS now considered to be an unhealthy sweetener.

It seems that the new logo is just a modernist interpretation of the old logo.
Being a traditionalist, I prefer the old logo, but this is really much ado about nothing.
I don’t think that the new design was influenced by the Obamanation.
I said the exact same thing to my wife last night. She thought I was developing Obama Derangement Syndrome and seeing propaganda everywhere (as if I don’t...).
But I knewt they changed this and it looked a whole lot more like The Messiah. I doubt they see this as a problem. They’d be happy to give up half the country in exchange for 60% of the under 25 crowd.
