I’m with ya on all 4!!
If you see my analysis above, made right after the wildcard games ended, I must admit to some slight tinkering to the games. The picks remain the same, however.......
I think 10 points may be a little high as I feel that Arizona will try and succeed somewhat with Edge James and that potent offense. Experience and 2 great RB’s in Williams and Stewart is enough for the Panthers to move on. And I didn’t even mention Steve Smith yet.
A most entertaining game that the Panthers hang on to win 28-24.
The other games are essentially the same.
RAVENS 20 TITANS 13
CHARGERS 13 STILLERS 24
and the upset of the season
IGGLES 23 G-MEN 16
My G-men will win! GO BLUE!
If you can get a ticket, I will have a cheesesteak and a beer for you (and because of the economy, the tic prices are not as bad as you might think; face value 120-150).
We will be in parking area 10B on the east side of the stadium...
Overtime vs. Sudden Lose Syndrome...
Make them play the FULL 15 mins - the clock stops ONLY for change of possession??...one team scores, the other gets a chance to score. If they don’t, then the other team in the lead gets the ball back and so forth until the time expires. Now that is FAIR!
Well you guys have fun Sunday!!! Those tix prices almost seem reasonable for the 2nd round of the playoffs.
As I have said above, the thing I’m looking at is that I see the G-Men having problems scoring Sunday. Now as solid as that offensive line is, and as rock solid as Brandon is, I really think without that big, physical receiver, I give the Eagles’ secondary the opportunity to make some big plays giving Donovan a short field to work with.
If Brian Westbrook can have 1 of those games and can offset BJ, the difference is Donovan making enough plays to survive a nailbiter of a game......
The views in Hawai’i are breathtaking.......
If only to have been inclined enough to hit a little white ball 300 yards where you want it to go......
However, I think Coaches Tom, Kevin and Steve will throw enough change-ups in the game plan to beat the Iggles 24-13.
It’s today...looks like moderate weather in TN and Carolina...maybe some cold precip.
Tomorrow for Pitts and NY...could be some nice winter weather. It’s just leaving IL area...
FORE!
Looks like snow fields in Pitts /d New York.
Been snowing here for almost 24 hours straight. Probably about 8” or so.....
golfer here too
what’s in yer bag ?
I agree too. Without Burress to defend, the Eagles D will “cheat” tight to the line of scrimmage on 1st & 2nd down trying to stop the run and force some obvious passing downs, where they’ll try to force Eli into some bad plays.
I think the Giants may have to throw more on 1st & 2nd down to keep the Eagles D honest. As far as McNabb goes, well who the heck knows? Hopefully he’ll have a short field and Westbrook & Buckhalter can be used effectively to take some pressure off him. I also think Special teams will be a huge factor in this game.
