WTF is your problem! I said “wild”, not on farmland or “Govt owned land.”

This isn't the 1800s, there are no lands that are "wild" i.e, nobody owns it.

My problem?

Fed up with idiots from the cities...people who think there are "wild lands" and trampled clearly fenced property and steal, yes steal, anything and everything because they think it is "wild".

We own and pay taxes on our "wild" property. And just because we choose not to farm every acre or cut down every tree and put up asphalt driveways with cheap McMansions on every square inch doesn't give anyone the right to trespass and steal my property.

Don't say it doesn't happen because we have a least three such fools every year, usually from the cities up north, wanting to go hunting or sightseeing or berry-picking or mushrooming....always without permission.

They all seem genuinely surprised, some highly indignant, when we usher them out of our pastures and tell them "yes", this is private land and "no", those cows aren't "wild"

How would you feel if my kin and I took up camping in your yard, picked fruit from your trees and garden, shot your animals, and left garbage strewn about your property? All because we didn't think anyone owned it?

The same as us, pissed off, that's how.

Oh and not forget all the unwanted pets who are no longer cute and cuddly and now a problem solved by setting it "free" (abandoned, to be starved) in Mother Nature's wonderful "wild lands"..

ps. If you find some truly wild land, "squat" on it. You'll make easy money.
