These are Steyr Mannlichers, the cheaper to produce late 1960’s successor to the classic and much classier Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifle.

LOL...I know the difference well. My uncle brought a lightly engraved M-S back from Germany in the 50’s....it’s dropped many a PA white tail.
