Yea, I’ve seen Jon Stewart. Like many on the left, he’s ignorant and abnoxious. Spreading lies isn’t funny and that’s why I don’t watch him and others.

Folks piled on because of my opinions about Ann Coulter. I wish I hadn’t said a thing because they misunderstood or vehemently disagreed with my point.

Like I said farther up the thread, I’ve even bought one of her books and will probably buy more because I agree with her opinions on the issues.

People find her over-the-top because she does not sentimentalize her encounters with her opponents. She knows they would like to destroy her and refuses to pretend that she wants to be anything but a combatant. And her critics also take what she says out of context. They think every time they do it they have the means to put her out of business.

Then John Edwards, poor thing, is discovered to have a love child, a crazy skanky mistress, and to be betraying his dying wife.

I guess she could be all collegial, like opposing attorneys are when they are haggling over the fate of some hapless client. But her blood doesn't run cold, oddly enough, the way of most lawyers. Look at Lindsey Graham this week, all grovelly. He looked so weak and pathetic and old in Obama's den. Now, that's a lawyerly guy. Graham believes in comity. I find it strange sometimes that Coulter was ever a lawyer.
