Too bad too. The franchise had a lot of potential to be redone right, but now that prospect has been totally destroyed by the MooreRon.

Yeah, Friday night's episode was really, really awful.

Dark, depressing, nihilistic, hopeless.

Yuck.

And also senseless bordering on nonsensical - they blew so many massive holes in the plotline that I don't see how they can possibly put the thing back together again.

I was hoping that maybe they had put some thought into it, but then I glanced at this interview with Ron Moore:

And pretty quickly it became clear that they are just winging it without any idea of what they're doing or where they're going with it.
