My old ex was an amazing person, but she believed in some rather interesting conspiracy theories. Like that one of Alien Reptilians and the like. I found the tales quite harmless, and since she was a gem I let it slide, but what you wrote reminds me of something along those lines. She claimed that Princess Di used to talk of those aliens and what-not.

The totally hilarious thing would be if all the talk of UFOs and Reptiles and Grays and Lochness Monsters and second-shooters-for-JFK and Bush/Kerry/Gore/Obama all being part of the same team, etc etc etc was true, and that the conspiracy fringe has been right all along.

Reminds me of that Men In Black movie where the spooks actually keep up with the REAL news by reading the tabloids.
