If I were a broadcaster, I’d sure hate to have to pay $10,000 per month for an addtional 4 months just to broadcast a duplicate signal.
Especially because the people that aren’t ready now won’t be in 4 months. Procrastinators are like that.
But they are BIG BUSINESS and can afford to pay $10k more per month, they will simply fire two or three people to make up the difference, but by golly the people will have their Digital TV...well, in August because most will not have used the certificate by then and then it will be delayed unti 2010 because in these ‘historic and unprecedented (how many times can he say that word?) times’ we can’t have people be without their direction from the all knowing, all seeing all powerful federal government so more employees will have to be termed...
