Gathering in true Steelers weather -- cold and occasional snow -- fans lined Downtown sidewalks 20 deep this morning for a parade of the Super Bowl champions.

Ah, correction. They are a six time super bowl (TM) champion.
The ACME Green Bay Packers have won more championships — 12 — than any other team in National Football League history.
You’re half way there. Maybe we could include a couple championships for Pittsburgh in the stimulus plan?
Are they taking bets on riots/arrests yet?
I'm sure the Rooney's patron saint, the mighty O, can come up with something in addition the Ireland ambassadorship.
Just a former Steelers fan until getting metaphorically kicked in the teeth.
The nice thing about this is its over after today.

As I noted over at The Sporting News websites NFL forum, the Steelers are one of the best sports franchises of the past four decades.
Their consistency is second to none, they ALWAYS put a competitive ballclub on the field year in, year out, which is amazing given the NFL’s rules regarding ‘parity’.
That said, you guys enjoy your latest ‘moment’.
After today, the rest of us will be quite happy not to hear about how swell your team is for a few months.
No offense intended, you guys are world champs again. Beware of becoming the team America loves to hate, ala the Cowboy’s.

Awww geesh the cowboys suck they were one of the worst teams this year on and off the field. A bunch of sissies that could not hold the steelers jock straps. Even the broads thay hang out with are down right fat, yep HEFFERS not cowgirls. They have no real quarterback. He is media made and his record proves it. I realize stats only go far considering bradshaw and montana (pennsylvania kid) have the most rings. The CRYboys will be just that for the next 5 years and you can take that to the bank.

That said, you guys are the team everybody is starting to love to hate beyond ‘Steeler Nation’....just as the Patriots were til last year for many, the Cowboys in the 90’s, the 49ers in the 80’s.
