Christian Bale is a stinkin’ #%&*@

A few months ago, actor Christian Bale went nuts while filming “Terminator Salvation.”

Some poor lighting guy made the mistake of walking into a shot while cameras were rolling. Bale stopped production while he publicly humiliated the poor guy, repeatedly berated him in the crudest possible terms, and despite the man’s apologies, threatened to beat him to a pulp.

TMZ.com got its hands on a tape of the incident. If you choose to listen, be prepared for some major league swearing. You’ll hear Bale screaming obscenities over and over again and threatening to quit if the guy isn’t fired.

According to TMZ, the tape was sent to the producers’ insurance firm as evidence in case Bale bailed on the film. Apparently, that is the source of the leak.

Christian Bale is #@&*% angry and someone is in big %&@!$ trouble.

Luckily that lighting guy didn’t have a kick ass business card, or he would be in a for a world of hurt.

The way Hollywoood works, this could be a publicity stunt.

Not saying it is. But it could be.

Actors are like that; his behavior was boorish but not unusual for stars of his caliber. The ultra rich seem to think they’re above everyone—of course there are exceptions.

A person who had been in the limelight a little longer...say, a Robert Duvall or a Morgan Freeman, would not have become a screaming idiot. They would have merely excused themselves until things were correct. Either that, or they would have quietly instructed someone to remove the offending party.

Who knows how much this person was moving around, or how long they had been distracting the actor?

I don’t approve of Bales’ behavior as depicted here, but we also do not know the entire story.

Bale has a history. It wasn’t but a few months back that he was arrested for assault on his mother and sister.

Ah, well, another Hollywood egomaniac who goes on our list of people not to pay to watch!

Amazing that he couldn’t calm himself down after a minute or so. He needs professional help.

“...we also do not know the entire story...”

IMHO we don’t need the rest of the story — the guy was out of control and acting very much like a bully!

It wasn’t some lighting guy he was chewing out, it was the director of photography aka cinematographer.

Gloria Steinem’s son in law?

Yes and that is exactly why these stories about him keep coming out. As the story goes, Steinem was going on, ad infinitum, at the dinner table about some liberal pile of horseshit when he said, to no one in particular, "Would somebody please tell that bitch to shut her f**king mouth?"

That is why these stories keep being leaked. The lighting director obviously did it at least once before. I'll take his side on this one.

People like Christian Bale really need to meet more people who carry Asp batons. The world would become politer in a hurry.

It’s against the law to threaten others with violence. That guy should sue Bale.
