WASHINGTON - President Obama met with the relatives of 9/11 victims and the 17 sailors killed in the bombing of the USS Cole this afternoon - promising them he "would get quick justice" despite plans to close the Guantanamo Bay prison.
"[Obama] said he wanted to close Guantanamo because it has become a bad symbol to the world," said Valerie Lucznikowska, a member of the Sept. 11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows.

I could help the President with a suggestion for that one: how about a Drumhead Court Martial, right there on Gitmo?
The cases could be heard over, say, three days — that’s only 82 cases per day, or one every six minutes for 245 terrorists.
Eighty-two guilty verdicts per day, followed by eighty-two convicted killer terrorists being run up at the end of a rope. Once finished, the clean-up crew could move in and close the facility down. The whole kit-and-kaboodle would be done by the end of next week.
Now *that* is swift justice. Anything less is, well, less.
No organization.
He tried voting "Present" on the stimulus package, and so far that is not working too well for him. I wonder if a replacement facility for Gitmo is buried somewhere in his spending plan currently working its way through the Democrat Congress.
They should just turn their backs on him like the vets did to Clinton at the Viet Nam Memorial. He has insulted these folks who have lost so much be it victims of 9/11 that day or service men and women and others in the fight against terrorists.
With his cancelling the charges against the terrorists of the Cole, 0bama has put on the cloak of the terrorists. All he needs now is that rag on his head.

...I’m a “real estate agent”. I work in an office with 22 other Realtors. I’d trust all but 1 with my life. Don’t know many other office environments where people can say the same.

quick justice is, arresting them, giving them a military trial, and putting them in front of a firing squad all in the course of one week.
Sorry if I offended you, but my experience with real estate agents has so far been negative — and I have dealt with 10 of them.

I’m a Realtor. If I lie about a transaction, I could go to jail. Need a find better analogy.

If that was true, our jails would be overflowing with realtors. 2000-2007 was a the “big lie” of all times with real estate and few, if any went to jail.
