So don’t support them. Get a dog from elsewhere. And do what you are doing now - telling everyone about their practices. That way, others can avoid adopting from them if they support our military.
Sorry about not being able to adopt a GSD from this rescue but they have had a bad experience with military families adopting dogs. One of their volunteers is in the USAFR and told me all about this.
Right now I have a dog that the GSROC had to drive 1000 miles to retrieve because the family decided to give up but refused to send back.
