Acutally, when Chris Matthews speaks, it’s just like a Chinese fortune cookie — just add “in bed” at the end, and it makes perfect sense.
So this actually meant:

I kept thinking during all those “thoughtful pauses” he was having TIAs from the stress, and Chris Matthews is “thinking” with him. Just goes to show you what makes a horse race.
In the spirit of bipartisanship, I would like to commend President Obama on his sensitivity in allowing all the folks who voted for him the opportunity to catch up during his pauses. No Democrat Left Behind. Magnanimous.
