I’d love to see the media have to retract all those joyous “RIVNI WINS!” headlines fron yesterday.

One of the Jerusalem newspapers stated Livini was more in tune with Obama. After reading that, I knew Israel was in trouble if she were elected!

Isn’t Netanyahu in the best position, no matter what? The MSM has been trying to cover it up, but Likud and its two offshoot parties have a commanding majority of the seats. In the end it’ll be a coalition of right wing parties putting together the government. Right?

Absolutely. No matter who really "wins" the election, with the vote breakdown by party, Likud will certainly form a coalition government of right-wingers with Netanyahu probably coming out as Prime Minister.

It’s not a case of Bebe having “won” the election - rather (as has always been true in every Israeli election) - is is a case of which party having the greatest likelihood of forming a ruling coalition Under Israeli law no single party in history has ever won enough seats in the election to step into power - thus they must line up various voting blocks among smaller political parties to gain power and then share the various top cabinet posts across the groups that come into the “coalition” http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/Page/IndexSpecials&cid=1227168197428
