I've set up a Yahoo league that is based on points. All drivers are available to all players all season, but the kicker is, you can't use a single driver more than 9 times..

You need a yahoo I.D.

Log onto Yahoo, or create a new account, then cut and paste this site into your browser:

click "sign up now"

enter your team name check all other options you'd like

click "accept terms of service"

click "continue"

click "join a group"

click "join a private group"

Group I.D. is 18639

Password is "freeper" (all small letters)

That's it..pick your team for week 1 and off we go..feel free to invite your friends, neighbors etc. etc. We are NOT limited to a certain number of people so the more the merrier..

Make sure to check and change your lineup each week..

just make sure you check and change drivers each week...you can only start a driver 9 times all year so you have to use them wisely..

Thanks for the heads up.

One odd question I’m sure, what’s the point of having a ‘bench’? Since they don’t count toward any points and they don’t count as started I don’t get it.

Or is the purpose of the bench explained in those rules I’m supposed to read :)

The bench gets bonus points for qualifying..but they don’t count toward the actual race unless they’re one of the starters..the top 4 qualifiers get bonus points..I believe it’s 10 for first, 7 for second, 4 for third and 1 for fourth..
