I don’t get it. The Valenciano breed was created by crossbreeding and produced for meat content like any other farm animal intended for human consumption. And it is said to breed prodigeously. These are not factors that would lead to near extinction.
Did it cease to be profitable due to competition from cheaper sources of meat?
