Nuradin Abdi was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2007 after pleading guilty in an alleged plot to blow up an Ohio shopping mall.
This was the Polaris Mall would-be incident. One of my teachers mentioned a plot to blow up the Polaris Mall outside Columbus, OH but the FBI busted it. I study at OSU and I've BEEN to the Polaris Mall several times, including in 2007....wow
