Oh, no. After all that work, but as long as it's a pretty color, you may like the subtle glaze even better. I've always used at least two different colors (usually one darker & one lighter) of glaze over my paint - except for our bedroom, which is really, really subtle - just a touch of white glaze over light-colored walls. (which is also the way I did the guest house walls because, being small, it needed light walls to open it up)
I was working on that little graphic and that wasn’t the way I wanted it to look....but I lost my way and gave up...LOL!
Sometimes I try too hard and get more confused. I had some green with the orange and then the shimmer and made an error and just threw up my hands. (Mother said I would have days like this.) ha!
Lovely opening from you and Amy!
I emailed some photos to you of the finished project, but they don't show the color of the paint well, or the brushed pearl effect. It didn't turn out looking bad, it just didn't turn out looking like I thought it would. And, the directions say to brush it on and use a trowel to "move the glaze around". That didn't work at all for me. It could be because the walls have too much texture on them. I ended up just brushing it on and swirling it around with the brush. It looks okay, I guess. I may get some darker or lighter tinted glaze and play with it more after I rest up from this project.....or, maybe not. LOL
