Is your shepherd's hook the kind that has the legs that go into the ground? That's what I'm using. I had to use a little electrical tape to keep it from wobbling on the thing that holds the baffle up. But it's on my shepherds hook and works like a charm. :)

I left and I'm back. LOL I better get my tail moving. ;) Have a great day!

RE: Shepherd’s Hook. It does have the feet or wings or whatever they are. They are not into the ground, just at the ground. So I need to see that they are in the ground?

Now, how far up the pole do you place the baffle? I may have to put some tape on it also, as you suggested. I have to do something because I have to get a new feeder. I put that up for my little yellow finches and I had so many and its killing me because I haven’t replaced that feeder.

I may get the second shepherd’s hook for my wild bird seed. When my husband was here we hung them from fishing line from a limb of the big tree and never had any trouble.
One of the lines recently broke (it had been there for 10 years) You could barely see the fishing line....the feeders looked like they were almost suspended in air...LOL! It was a great idea.

I will get back to work now.
