Carrie Fisher as Princess Leah
At 52 years, here is Carrie Fisher, looking like Mike Myers. 
What would Jabba do? He would put her in a skimpy bikini and chain her up.
watch out now! LOL!! I have that hollow cheek look, missing my upper teeth.
For those of you in your 40's, don't get too cocky. Your time is probably on it's way.
I found a photo online of her taken April ‘08, and another dated “2009”. She seems to have aged years, not months, between those 2 photo shoots.
Another poster noted she's bipolar and depressed. Just about all the bipolar people in the country went throuh some major changes in medication the last three years or so ~ maybe less.
Some of them required additional "drugs/treatments" to assist them in the transition.
Just guessing that the picture was taken while Carrie Fisher was "between" 'scripts.
Her later photo looks much better ~ makeup or not ~ and I've noticed that same effect in other bipolar folks I know who've successfully been moved over to the newer medications.

I had to do an Google image search for Phoebe Cates (a fun activity in and of itself, of course) to see what you were talking about. Wow. Judging by the pictures I found, at 43, she could easily pass for 20.
She does a good job in the Robot Chicken Star Wars voice overs. But Billy D.’s the best in those (which I highly recommend along with the Family Guy’s Blue Harvest- Star Wars homage).

Anyone ever see the woman amazon from the “Gamesters of Trkskellion” on TOS Star Trek in her own photo shoot? The one where she’s wearing at least some of the furn she had on TV? Used to be able to Google Image it.

Because I too am a human being. I know how a normal human being would respond, internally, to such a thing. I know how they feel when you physically stab them, being one, and I know how they feel when you put their picture on a public web site and make comments on how ugly they’ve gotten as they’ve aged, again, being one.
The only question is HOW impactive it is.
If she is an adult I am sure she has developed a thick skin. Nevertheless to her it is not “light humor”. It would be hurtful to any reasonable human being.
It is not light. It is hurtful. It’s like those pitures of famous female stars taken of them in bikinis on beaches showing how “ugly” they are.
Just sayin’.

I posted the thread not as a joke or make fun of Carrie Fisher. It is how she has become since she became Princess Leah. I am sorry if it offended you, but people have different perceptions. But I am sure that you had some fun with it, even if only a bit. You would not have posted your comments otherwise (positive or negative). Carrie Fisher is public figure and I am sure this is not the first time that her “aged” picture has been made public, whether in print or in more public websites. Sadly, entertainers have to take the flak the public gives them since without the public, they’re nothing.
