You couldn't pay me to step south of the border. I've been hearing about some MEXICANS in the US (legal) who go back to Mexico every year to visit family, and they are NOT going back to Mexico this year. I hope your neice and her church group reconsider.

I’m sure we’ll see Obama come on TV this morning and claim that, “I’m sure Mexico means well, but forcing everybody to get married won’t solve anything.”

If one of my kids was planning a trip to Mexico, for whatever reason, I would discourage them from going at any time in the near future.

We should follow their act on putting our own trafficantes in the ground!

That whole prohibition/WOD thing is going great!

With any luck it will all be over by Christmas. /s

Cerially it didn't work with booze. All that gave us were Capone, and Kennedy. Now an entire nation is basically in a jail cell with murderers!

If you care for her and her friends don't let her go. I wouldn't let anyone I love even go as far as Los Angeles.

So then your solution is to end the prohibition on drugs? Will the Mexican Mafia then be given a license sell them legally?

This is really weird...Fox had it up in Breaking News for just a second and then pulled it...no other outlets are covering it. Perhaps they are afraid of using the “M” word...

You're in Nevada?

Hell, Las Vegas has substantially higher per capita crime rates than even Los Angeles.

As matter of fact, Vegas has higher per capita crime in 6 out of the 7 major crime categories than does LA.

Las Vegas and Los Angeles Comparative Crime Ratios per 100,000 People

Las Vegas, NV Los Angeles, CA National
Murder: 11.6 12.4 7
Forcible Rape: 54.57 27.3 32.2
Robbery: 409 370 205.8
Aggravated Assault: 507.7 377.2 336.5
Burglary: 1133.5 524.8 813.2
Larceny Theft: 2038.2 1539.2 2601.7
Vehicle Theft: 1495.6 654.4 501.5

If you had paid attention to my tag line I live far to the north of Vegas. I don't see much difference between Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

A century ago in Old Mexico

This was about the time of VIlla's career in Mexico. You might as well say there wasn't any law in that country. The Mexican bandits run as they pleased. If they took a notion to move a rancher or anybody, they just naturally killed them and took possession. A good many white settlers was killed and also many of the higher type Mexicans with money. Them bandits didn't have any love for a white man. They just killed them to watch them die. The Mexican rebellion started about nineteen eight. The bandits had got pretty well-organized by the time we struck Mexico in 1911. I was going on 17 then.
