No question, gluttony, one of the ‘seven deadly sins.’ And the crowds cheer. I find it appalling.

I'm actually surprised this doesn't happen more often at "all you can eat" contests. The average daily calorie intake for an average male is about 2,200. Each pancake has about 150 calories so that means 43 pancakes packs about 6,450 calories or almost three days of food for this guy in about an hour.
Well he probably had more calories than that because according to this article, these weren't your average buttermilk pancakes.
