Yes, Obama got up, they switched the speech, and he read the beginning of Cowen’s speech..thanking himself.

I always thought that, unless they has a long-established favorite (i.e. if Zero had gone to UNC or if he was from North Carolina and was a long-time fan), presidents traditionally did not disclose their favorites in major sporting events.

It's the utter arrogance of this guy. Don't embarrass him like he's the most important man on the planet while at the same time he's embarrassing the U.S. with his political stupidity.
