I love how you support the article complaining about an excess of regulation and blame government and regulators for everything, yet you never complain about to much regulation...

Obviously Wall St. has no blame... it’s always someone elses fault...

You, sir, are a liar or an incompetent. I do not nor ever have supported ANY article that purports to describe anyone OTHER than regulators as the principal cause of this debacle.

Wall Street has ALL SORTS of blame to assume, preferably w/o taxpayer assistance. Were you conscious in 1998, when LTCM -- THE most successful hedge fund in history -- went belly-up? The notion that banks (cough) and hedge funds can gamble on the taxpayers' dollar is obscene, and you are part of the problem -- you lump the responsible in with the irresponsible (just like Osamabama, btw), and you don't know what the blazes you're speaking of.

Darken my door no more, FReeper. You're welcome to your opinion, naturally -- but no one here is bound to honour your curious (and evidently longstanding) incompetence on financial matters.

Do not go gently into that good night, you'd undoubedly hit the same wall over and over.

Once more: this subject is well-known, well-understood by those who prefer to understand it, and you, sir, are -- frankly -- boring in your insistence.
