But, i bet you feed the birds. God created cats to be outside...that’s why they have hunting abilities, good eyesite and claws.

Dogs are too needy, smelly and require too much attention. they are noisy and jump and need to be let out all day long....cats are calm, patient, neat, dainty, quiet, use the litter box and cover it, do not require constant gratification and are very pretty. :)

Funny, God made Dogs too, but we dont allow dogs to roam wild, we dont allow dog owners to allow their dogs to crap and pee on other folks property, tear up car paint, nor do we have homeless dog networks feeding feral dog packs that roam the nieghborhoods.

get it straight, With your logic, all animals should be allowed free roaming all over all the time? after all toxic snakes have fangs and can hunt, lions have claws and can hunt, why not allow all destructive animals to freely roam, let the owners of said animals not be responsible and allow their animals to defecate all over other peoples property? heck it is all natural and God made the animals to live outside.
what a ding bat statement in defence of roaming destructive pests. No mention of property Rights either, Do I have to pay for your cats damage to my property, does that sound right? are you some wacked out car lady?

I beg to differ. I'll take you to a neighborhoods where there are dogs all over. I just got an email to be on the lookout for 2 $1,500 dogs that 'got loose' from the yard. I saw a dog got loose from a yard and get hit by a car... My neighbors dog just broke loose last week and ran after me to the mailbox...I froze as to not get bit and my neighbor came running to get him....common occurence. I'll show you how my neighbors are walking their dogs all day and they have plastic bags in their hand they never use. This is a nice neighborhood too. The sideswalks are full of poop...you have to be careful where you walk. This is everywhere. People in the country with land let their dogs loose to roam...it's natural. I have other neighbors with dogs that break loose all the time. One killed this homeless deaf cat...one friend of mine saw a neighbors dog carrying a neighbors dead cat in it's mouth walking down the street. So, please...get out more or wise up. I'll bet you love birds though..and using your logic, they should be eliminated from roaming too.....they poop on your car wrecking the paint and they leave tons of diseases...the most disease carrying thing there is to your backyard are the birds. Fox, raccon and possum are around every day too. Should I kill them??? A few cats around your neighborhood is nothing. It's what God wanted.

where i live it is illegal to let dogs run loose. yes it still happens, but it is illegal, and the dogs must be liscenced so that if the dog does damage, its owner can be found.

cats are uncontrolled as the rule, owners bring them in from outside the local area and let them roam free, and they do damage to other folks property.

cats should be treated as dog as far as leash laws and owner responsibility. we also have limits on how many dogs one can own, I’d like that applied to cats also. one crazy on the street with ten cats, and they roam and piss on everybodies property. I dont care if they have 1000 inside their house, as long as the smell stays inside!

yes I like birds (but dont feed them), but they are not destroying my property, humans are not bring them in in mass.

if you want cats to be all natural, then stop feeding them (after all you said they are hunters), stop giving them medical care. Stop the feral cats groups from trespassing to feed feral colonies (infestations)

bottom line is respect your neighbors property rights, by keeping your damn cats on you own property 100% of the time

I personally keep my cats inside...but I feed strays (I speuter them & shots). God borned them, people neglected them...God wanted them to have a life. I will never play God and kill them....that would be selfish, cruel and sick. You can’t help but have stray BIRDS, raccoons, possums, cats, dogs, snakes, spiders, lizards etc...around a house. You want to know the damage raccoons have done? That’s life..... Maybe you should invest in a 10 foot concrete wall completely surrounding your property ....get rid of the trees so the birds don’t leave their diseases and continually spray your house inside and out with chemicals. You should be fine.

Use a spray bottle.

A water pistol works also.

its the cats that folks allow to roam. my damges exceed $7000 so far from cats. zero from dogs. The racoons, and birds are not a probelm. You feeding strays is a problem. spaying them dont stop their destructive behavior. laws prevent me from buidling a ten foot high wall (six foot limit)

You sound like a PETA nutter

the problem is people like you. keep your damn cats inside, all of them, even the ferals you feed. you have taken partial responsibility for them, dont be half assed, take full reposnibilty.

Believe youme, if some piegon lady started feeding birds on my property and they were making a mess, I’d be after her too.

Just becuase you have crappy nieghbors with dogs, dont mean I have to put up with crappy cat peoples bad, dis-respectful habbits of letting theri animals roam and destroy.

you need to understand this is a conservative website, that means we belive in personnel responsibity. You defending folks that allow cats to roam, and you feeding ferel cats is NOT responsible, Your dumping your cat life style on everyone else. It’s your mess, you clean it up. You want to do the right thing, then pay my cat damages bill. you are a liberal
