I wonder where Obama gets off firing the President of anything, let alone the President of G.M. Where is it spelled out in the Constitution that the President of the United States can fire the head of a private corpotation at will???
I heard Ed Schultz recently retort to a caller who had said “Where in the Constitution does it say that the federal government can run education?”—”Where does it say the federal government CAN’T run education?”
I’m not going to call that ignorance. If that’s ignorance, it’s the completely willful kind. That’s intellectual dishonesty and moral corruption.
One of the very, very few phenomena that give me any hope for my country is the abysmal ratings of totalitarian oafs like Ed Schultz.
It’s prolly scrawled on the back, in crayon.
As slick willy said - “Because I can”.
I don’t think Dumb0 will be happy until he’s the dictator of this country. And the media and all his idiotic Democratic congress people and Rinos that are helping him should be ashamed.
It’s in the bailout offer made to the Big 3 somewhere I’m sure. I heard someone on the radio talking about it, but I don’t know whether it was just a caller guessing or the host who might have actually known. I tuned in late and only was on that station a minute before getting out.
The President of GM had the right to say no, at which point the pretend POTUS would call in the USA loan. It works that way when you are in debt. It’s known as the golden rule: whoever has the gold makes the rules.
Tenth Amendment, Ed.
If the US Government is now a majority shareholder in GM, they sure can fire the CEO or anybody else they want to fire.
I heard a guy on the radio this morning say something like, what if some guy just woke up from a coma today and you told him, “The President has fired the CEO of the country’s biggest automobile manufacturer”, what year and what country would the guy think he was in.
Ordinarily, I would call that a Constitutional Violation... but .. FUHRER OBAMA Don’t giveadam about the Constitution!
**If the US Government is now a majority shareholder in GM,**
I call that tortius interference!!
I don’t think that PIDDLY BAILOUT causes Majority Shareholder..
WELCOME TO USSA
“I won.”
That really says it all. Everyone else be damned, he’s king as he sees it.
Piddly bailout...what are you talking about?

Under Wagoner, GM gave big to GOP
By KENNETH P. VOGEL | 3/30/09 2:38 PM EDT
“Under ousted chief executive Rick Wagoner, General Motors and its political action committee gave twice as much to Republicans as they did to Democrats.
From 2000, when Wagoner took over the Detroit-based auto-maker, through the end of last year, GM and its PAC contributed $1.7 million to Republican candidates and committees, compared only $815,000 to Democratic ones, according to a POLITICO analysis of Federal Election Commission and Internal Revenue Service records....”

Maybe it’s the back story(?). In any case, as you may know, Wagoner exits with a reported 20 million severance. Nevertheless, Obama is an overt fraud.
Well, probably not, but I don’t know what the terms of the deal were.
But shouldn't they at least call a board meeting or something, and sort of do it in accordance with the company bylaws...:^)
The one in control of the gold makes the rules.
Bu Imperial decree of The Emperor Obamanus Porkulus Epimanes(the Mad)..
That really says it all. Everyone else be damned, hes king as he sees it.
Germany had Der Fuerher, Italy had Il Duce, and we have El Dumbo.
Pray for our nation.
