So, when is Tyra going to have Ashley Biden on her show?

Sarah seems to respond to allegations quickly and decisively - once; that seems to be her pattern and I’m fine with it. She strikes back to let people know her side and where she stands on issues and then she doesn’t comment the same story again. I like that about her and I believe that will happen with this issue, too. She’ll comment and then move on.

A quick search on that might reveal the truth of that statement.

“She should have declined to comment. No good comes from having a public fight with your daughters ex-boyfriend and family.”

I agree. How is Levis’s momma doing? Still facing major jail-time for drug possession?

” Palin made a serious lapse in judgment when she allowed her teenage daughter to be interviewed on prime time, national television. Again, no competent political consultant that had national campaign experience would think that to be a good idea.”

First, Bristol is an adult and maybe she made that decision herself. Maybe, just maybe, the Palin’s don't run their lives as a political campaign. Second, maybe they didn't ask a political consultant if it would be a good idea.

You are sounding as bad as the Clinton's who, before they made any decision or public statement, conducted a poll to see which way the wind blew.

Try to get beyond your elitist view. People love Sarah because she's human and doesn't (at least in many folks view) say or do what is politically expedient. She's kinda the anti-politician. Not anti enough for me. Maybe. But way different than what most assholes in DC are. So why not let the PR firms stay home and let the chips fall where they may?

“Sarah, you really need to stay out of the tabloids and there is no reason to respond to Levi’s statements.”

Agree.

No. But, I own my own company and have paid obscene amounts of money to PR firms. That's exactly what they would recommend.

If you already know exactly what the PR firms would recommend, then why do you bother hiring them? Just run your own PR.

And Palin’s got it. The ones who don’t have that…can’t stand it.....

Sarah does indeed have "it". It's rare. She's not just another politician. In fact she is not a politician. She's a "Statesman" which is synonymous with courage, decency and patriotism.

"Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees all others." Winston Churchill.....

Facing some heavy-duty legal bills, I’d guess; unless they do it “pro-bono” to curry favor with her dad. That’s a case where everyone might now know she’s guilty, but no one can prosecute. The corroborating witness would have to incriminate themselves just for the joy of bring down Ms Biden. It won’t happen.

when people were praising him he was a young father to be who was doing the right thing and marrying the mother of his child. That is what we expect him to do. That is the honorable thing.

Now if he had done then what he is doing now, then we would be giving the same condemnation as today.

I suspect this pay for scandal attitude is what called the engagement off.

Let’s hope there’s a renewed market for the Churchill/Reagan type. Right now the US electorate is impersonating Blanche DuBois. As Blanche says in the play, “I don’t want realism, I want magic.”

"You are sounding as bad as the Clinton's who, before they made any decision or public statement, conducted a poll to see which way the wind blew.

You know why Clinton managed his presidency in that manner? It worked. Clinton left office, even after surviving impeachment, with a 66% approval rating. How's that possible?

Many people love Sarah Palin, to be sure. Unfortunately, many more people don't believe that she's competent to be commander-in-chief. She has a competency problem, not unlike Bush. She needs to get a handle on it, and quickly, if she has aspirations of higher elected office.

If she isn't thoughtfully vetting every statement that her subordinates put out on her behalf, perhaps she isn't yet competent to be President. The manner in which she's handled this entire affair is questionable at best.

You may call my view "elitist", but that's exactly what it takes to win a national election. You must not only be better than your competitor, you must be perceived as such.

I’m sure most all of you were just in love with him when he was brought out on parade as a shining example of American youth.

i was never in love with this teenage couple... when they didn't immediately marry once her pregnancy was known, i knew they would never marry each other...

The Clintons were no different than the Palins.

EXCEPT.....the Clintons had the MSM/DNC/Hollywood/Academia War Room. They are coordinated, newspapers, TV, entertainment, mags, pure saturation.

He was nothing special...his war room was and is still.

They now work for Hussein, and against Palin.

No one can overcome it, we are in an impossible situation, and when the take one of ours down....they move on to the next.

All we can do not go down without a fight, and not eat our own dead. (which we fail at every friggin time)
