Following in the footsteps of another recent first family, we're told President Barack Obama is planning to vacation on Martha's Vineyard this summer. Word is the Obamas have rented a house in the East Chop neighborhood of Oak Bluffs for the last two weeks of August. Coincidentally, Bill and Hillary Clinton, who vacationed at the opposite end of Martha's Vineyard during Bill's presidency,will be on the island at the same time.

Gee, that sure is a coincidence. I still don't believe Hillary took this job for the paycheck or her deep patriotism. Sounds to me like they're going to have a month of working sessions.

Bingo. Apparently Michelle likes the company of white, rich liberals.
I vacationed there for years until I couldn’t stand it anymore. The best time I had was watching Red Dawn in the little theater in Edgarstown surrounded by lefties.
And who is footing the rental price?
There is a small African-American summer settlement in Oak Bluffs, an old Methodist settlement, and a movie about it.
The Obamas probably won't be staying there, but it is a part of the island's history.
