Fox’s network never claimed to be conservative. Fox New only looks conservative when compared to the MSM. FoxNews is pretty much middle of the road in the scheme of American politics.

This is one show on FOX. Who watches it? I have never seen one episode. I like “Fringe” and some other shows but, seriously, who watches “adult” cartoons?
Nationally maybe, but here in Boston, the FOX affiliate is just as bad as all the others. There isn’t a ‘mean landlord’ or ‘struggling single mother’ that isn’t covered.

The Fox broadcast network has never claimed to be conservative, as a look at their programming shows.
Neither has the Fox News Channel. FNC only claims to be:
“fair and balanced.”
You are exactly right. Just because they do offer a few conservative led shows doesn’t mean they are a “conservative network”.
If you look at their programming (not the news channel) they carry alot of garbage. Where do these morons get their journalistic ideas?
Fox NEWS isn’t completely in the tank for the left, that does not make them a ‘family values based network’.
Really? Does it advertise itself as such? I watch Family Guy because I think its funny. I'm glad I have the freedom to do that here in the United States. If you don't like show, you too, have the FREEDOM to change the channel.
Family Guy used to bash Eastern elitist libs in the early years but his more recent preachy leftist shows are now reserved for making fun of Republicans, Christians and Southerners. I try to catch old ones now and then on TBS or CN, but the new shows are un-watchable and unfunny.
I’m still waiting for any of these shows (besides South Park of course) to start bringing down Obama like they did Bush. It’s not like there’s a shortage of material from this guy. I’m guessing I’ll be waiting a long time, however.
This is what passes for “comedy” these days. The writers of these skits are sick and twisted, as are their employers for tolerating this kind of degenerate humor.
You’re a sick guy if you enjoy “an opera version of the Nicole Simpson murders, or the JFK Pez dispenser, where candy comes out of his wounds.” You need help.
Not as much help as someone who wastes all this time griping about a CARTOON he or she is not forced to watch. You are of the same spirit as the lefties who want to take Limbaugh of the air.
I don't disagree that a lot of this stuff is dumb, but it can certainly be entertaining.
Same M.O. as "The Simpsons." Once the creative juices cease to flow and/or the they are no longer willing to parody their own social set, then mere crudity and libeling Judeo-Christian ethics seem to be the default positions. Pretty original, eh?
When they start ridiculing Islam, then maybe they can actually be considered "edgy" and "gutsy," but until then they are merely lazy and PC.

Advising someone to get a channel changer is a silly liberal argument. The decadent Weimar Republic had plenty of freedom, too, before Hitler came in.
Conservatives, and so-called conservative networks, should have higher standards. We are called by the Bible to live a pure and honorable life, as best we can. We are not supposed lie down with dogs and celebrate their filth.

I just have trouble seeing this leftist bent in Family Guy that everyone is saying he has. MacFarlane makes fun of everything. Nothing, left or right, is sacred to him.

First, Fox and Fox News are two different networks. Second, Fox is a money-making operation—period. The reason FOX News tilts to the right is because it’s good business. The ratings prove it. That’s all there is to it. If it makes money, they’ll do it. Last, Fox News is Murdoch to a T. It’s a combination of conservative editorial content and tabloid news. It’s basically the New York Post as a teevee network. None of this is very complicated. Family Guy is on Tv because it makes money. End of story.

One of the first blockbuster fiction books sold in America, was Ben Hur. Around 1880. Good Christians didn’t read false books of fiction then. I hope you don’t have any other fiction books. I suppose you also don’t go into Malls on account of booksellers with filthy romance bodice rippers and all.

Have you ever seen anything about Peelousy? I mean that's a classic Peter joke in the making. NO you haven't. Have you ever seen a Bambi joke? No you haven't.
I have seen many random non plot attacks against GW. Billy Jeff even co-starred with Peter in a show.
Am Dad at least makes a small attempt to balance out the hatred the left has of the right. In the show where they portrayed GW as a drunk for half of the episode, at least they wrapped it up by making him appear likeable at the end. Not so for FG.
I used to enjoy FG. Three shows ago, they were back on funny, but two more leftist indoctronationals in a row after that were just two more shovelfulls of dirt on the coffin of the comedy that was once a funny show.
“Family Guy”, at least for me,sucks and is unwatchable. Same goes for “The Simpsons” and most of the other crap on TV. I do like “This Old House Hour” ,though,and it’s on PBS , go figure.
My advice is to grow up and quit complaining about something that doesn't have to bother you.
BTW, where did you get the notion that Fox was anything more than a television network seeking the widest possible audience? I am unaware of any particular political stance they have taken.
Well, just last month they did a sketch with the mother and Brian arguing about the mother’s anchor job at Fox. The mother had to set up a sting at Michael Moore’s house to catch him doing something (I don’t recall). Anyway they found Rush Limbaugh coming in and out of the house and assumed he and Moore had a sexual relationship. Turns out that Rush Limbaugh, Michael Moore, and a host of other characters was actually Fred Savage in a fat suit.
And the show when the doctor turned on Peter’s gay gene, weren’t they making fun of gay people?
You are right though, haven’t seen anything about Pelosi. But does the average person watching Family Guy for laughs know who Nancy Pelosi is?
As for Obama, I would just give them time. Family Guy is just not yet ahead of the curve like South Park is.
Why do you keep throwing around this “conservative network” junk. Fox is not now, never has been, and as long as there’s money in it, never will be a “conservative network”. Fox News is conservative because Rupert saw an open market niche and went for it. Fox the entertainment channel has been irritating Christian conservatives since they started the network with The Tracy Ullman Show. Fox the entertainment company dares the FCC to fine them and revels in the free publicity they get from AFA and articles like this, always has, always will.

Balanced? Hardly! This just gives reinforcement to the loopy left belief of a vast right wing conspiracy. Also they made a point of stating Rush is gay, without mentioning Jabba is gay.
FG USED to be funny. Mostly it is just political jabbing by the left now. Nothing funny about it. They took the funny gag of unzipping lesbian-horse-broom characters from the first season , and used it to promote political/theoretical/social equalism.
I’m glad you agree. Profit or not, the Fox executives should have the common decency not to run a show that makes fun of JFK’s bloody assassination.
