I usually have both a habanero and a jalapeno plant growing in my garden. Those habaneros are killer, can’t imagine what those ‘ghost’ peppers are like. For hot sauce,though, I like Texas Pete.

Yeah, really!
My mother gave me my grandmother’s recipe for chili sauce, but didn’t mention NOT to touch the hot red pepper seeds with my bare hands. When my husband came home, I was standing with my hands inside the freezer. Those things BURN.
