Some folks stew em. When I was a kid, I use to sell them by the 5 gallon bucket to the black folks.
We would have to dispose of them or the Hmongs would take them.
I've seen black guys taking their large catch of large carp home. (But the last time I reported on black culture it turned into a flame war.) The carp in the lakes, rivers, and canals in the Phoenix area are GIGANTIC, and you can catch a bunch of them in a short amount of time. If you pressure cooked them and canned them, you'd be eating fish for a long time. I can't get over the slime, though.
