Yep, every man/husband/father feels that way to a certain extent sometimes.... the feeling of having kids suck up money like a Hoover. But most fathers don't mind, though. Thats what they work for anyway.
I found myself quoting a Al Bundy line the other day. Something the kids had done and I was standing there in awe of the mess they made... “I'm dead, why don't I fall down?”
He reminds me of my brother. He used to be the Playa... drove a corvette.... had girls coming in and out of his apartment.... Now his wife is lazy, his kids are ungrateful and every dime he makes is gone before he sees it. But even though he tells me to kill him all the time, I don't think he would have it any other way.
