Your state page should have loads of politically active FReepers from Florida.

The political folks are shameless about email, aren’t they?

Use sneakemail.com. It sets up an email address that is forwarded to your normal email address. You can set up multiple email addresses for each purpose you use. You can cut off any of the addresses at any time.

It’s what I use for politics and for web commercial signups. I don’t get any spam anymore.

Welcome Danielle!

The Simcox for Senate website has a telephone number you can call for direct contact with the campaign office. It is (480) 621-5399. I’m sure they’d love to have someone like you on the team.

This is the website for the state party:

http://www.azgop.org/

On the first page is a map of AZ, click on your county and you’ll get the contact information for the District Chairs. You may need to poke around the Sec of State website (http://www.azsos.gov/election/) to see what District you live in.

Contact the Chair of your District and ask to be appointed to a seat, when you can. You may not meet residency requirements.

To: dlk2009; Buckhead

Welcome Danielle. It’s delightful to have good conservative women stepping up to take part in the process.

One easy way to keep the automated junk mail to a minimum is to use Google Gmail. If you set up an account there, say dlk2009@gmail.com, then you can use as many aliases as you like by appending a ‘+’ and another word to your user name. For example you could tell the Simcox mailing list robot that your email is dlk2009+simcox@gmail.com, and this will get forwarded to your regular address. If they ever abuse the email privilege, you tell Gmail to treat that address as junk mail, and you’ll never hear from them again.

Good luck with everything and keep us posted if you happen to run. It looks like you’re using your real initials, which I think is a good idea. I post under my real name to try to keep from being too inflammatory or impolite (not always successfully.) If you ever run for office, expect the Alinskyite scum to look up everything you’ve ever posted here even if it’s anonymous. We leave a surprising amount of bread crumbs for them to follow, just ask our local hero Buckhead.
