Your first sentence shows why I don't do serious gaming on PCs anymore. Constant upgrading got old. With a console I may not have the absolute best, but I know I'm good for another five years or so. And with a PS3 I know the games will keep getting better, not slower (devs are still not coming close to tapping the Cell's power).
I’ll probably be buying a PS3 this year as a cheap bluray player. Long live HD-DVD! :(
