LYNNWOOD -- A 78-year-old Lynnwood woman is accused of attacking her 84-year-old husband because she believed he cheated on her several times during their marriage.
The man suffered several broken ribs, a shattered pelvis and a fractured wrist, Snohomish County deputy prosecutor Valerie Shapiro wrote in court documents.

The woman allegedly told police she pushed her husband down and hit him with a bowl and a metal pipe. Investigators recovered the woman's diary in which she allegedly wrote, "I beat him again." The diary described how she hit her husband with a carpet sweeper and went after him with a knife. The diary entry also stated that "I told him it would be worth going to jail just to watch him bleed to death," Shapiro wrote.
A witness told police the woman admitted that she had kicked her husband three times in the groin over the last six months because she believed he'd had an affair 35 years ago, according to court documents.

That’s a long time to be holding a grudge.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...
Probably mean as a snake all her life and just getting better at it with age! If you’ve never known a woman like this, count your blessings!
Paranoia and rage often accompany dementia.
Hello, Dr. Laura
She sounds crazy. Even if he did have an affair, it was 35 years ago for goodness sake. What would lead her to suspect such a thing 35 years later but not at the time?
Yes, the first time in my life my father EVER hit me (inluding spankings, he was a liberal and my mom was not-and she didn’t hold back on the spankings, lol) was in his early stages of dementia.
What no pitbull?
Statics show that if a man is having an affair, sixteen out of nine times his wife knows about it.
35 years? My wife would just be getting warmed up if it were something I did.
Dick Armey (sp?) once said that if he had had an “oral sex is not sex” moment like Clinton, his wife would have had only one question: “How do I reload this thing?” (close paraphrase).
Wow!
If you want your spouse to listen and pay strict attention to every word you say, talk in your sleep.
I married Miss Right. I just didn’t know her first name was Always.
A man was complaining to a friend: “I had it all - money, a beautiful house, a big car, the love of a beautiful woman - and then, BAM!, it was all gone!”
“What happened?” asked his friend. “My wife found out...”
My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met.

And she knocked him down,
Cause he was slipping around.

Sounds like a woman thing. My mother holds a grudge for years too. She’s still holding a grudge over something I did at 22.
