Very cool. I made Life Scout as a kid, but my troop folded.
Congrats!
I welcome him to the club! Outstanding job son and dad!
Your son is a great Citizen and a model Scout. You must be very proud, on both counts!
May I offer you both my hand, and hearty heart-felt congratulations on your son’s achievements? I am pleased and proud for you both, and honored that you chose to share this wonderful news with us today.

I lived overseas as a kid. The closest I ever got to scouting was a subscription to “Boy’s Life”.
Scout salute!
Thanks. The other day, I pulled out my flight suit from 20 years ago and let him try it on. It fit him like a glove. I think he slept in it that night.
My son will be receiving his first class rank in a few weeks (hopefully) and star by this fall.
Hope your son is planning to go to the National Jamboree in July 2010.
Congrats to your son.
Logan making Eagle Scout will make it easier for him to get into the service academies, including the Air Force Academy. You just need to make sure his academics and other activities are good enough, and that he is physically fit (Shouldn’t be much of a problem).
(big grin!) That is TOO COOL for words! Delightful!
My three nephews and a cousin’s son all have made it into the nest....It takes a lot of hard work by the scout and support from the family....You are all to be congratulated.
Congratulations. Your son is following the footstep of our neighbor in Amherst. Eagle Scout, college, Air Force, A-10 pilot, many missions in middle East and now in Korea. He loves the life, prayers for your son to succeed.
Congratulations to Logan and to his support staff! : )
That is going to be something for him to really remember.
Here's a trivia question, "Which country's Boy Scouts have ostrich feathers on their campaign style hats?"
Congratulations Logan
Very nice. Congrats to your son. It’s really a great deal, that Eagle thing.
I earned mine 40 years ago, and at the time, I thought it was kind of a kid thing that was all about scouting. It wasn’t.
It seems to have followed me for my whole life. Job apps, applications to college, (no military for me, but it makes a significant difference to the military and it’s understandable), but throughout my life that little award got asked about. I’m convinced that it got me into places and positions and even cockpits, much like my undergraduate and advanced degrees did. Even now, I keep getting some sort of eagle scout mailing from somewhere. How do they keep track of me on something like that?
Irregardless, it’s nice to have the award. He still doesn’t appreciate what it will do for him later, but it will. :-)
