Should Colon choose to remain a member, he should just STFU, and support the candidates with money and by voting FOR them rather than against them.

That works. Either that or he should offer specifics.

"Either that or he should offer specifics."

That's the part that's bugging me two weeks after the first broadside. Without a discussion of 0be's decisions to date, Colon comes across as a continued Trojan Horse (or part thereof).

Too much name calling...ok on this site, but makes us look like nutcases in the general public...even here in Texas.

It’s probably best not to dwell on the infanticide stuff too - we understand it here...but the rest of the country simply doesn’t want to hear it. They hate it, but they cannot handle the truth.

The fact of the matter is that the Republicans ran the most moderate candidate since Gerald Ford, who was a war hero and clearly loved this country. And the Democrats ran the most radical liberal EVER, by far - who clearly wants to WEAKEN this country...even talks about getting rid of our nukes just as the North Koreans and Iranians are perfecting theirs.

And then Colin Powell, a man appreciated for his service to the country, a man who should, by all means, understand that people and countries want to BLOW US OFF THE MAP - endorses the Democrat.

That says to me that there really is no Republican that Powell could EVER support for President again, and therefore why should Republicans EVER even consider listening to him.

Furthermore, if Powell does want to again be useful to this country, he should consider criticizing Obama...or maybe even working for him to help keep World War 3 from starting, because Obama is about to stumble right into it.

That’s how I recommend people deal with him.

I do wish someone would ask Mr. Powell this question:

“On what major divisive issue have you publicly disagreed with the Democrats on?”

Maybe there are some, but I don’t know of them. Anyone have examples?

Pretty much sums him up, doesn’t it.

Colin Powell is a gutless wonder on the same lines as McCain. Powell, you will remember, knew Richard Armatage was the Valerie Plame leaker. He was such a good Republican that he couldn’t bring himself to speak up and tell the truth. Colin Powell is an “Opportunist”, nothing more.

If he is one of us, he should be able to articulate just what it is about us that makes him want to be one of us. What Republican principles does he hold dear, such that he is drawn to label himself a Republican when he could as easily join the Democratic Party, the party of the president he supports and voted for.

His posture is not coherent. He’s a Republican who supports Obama because Obama seems to be his ideal of what a Republican should be, although he never articulated which of Obama’s principles or policies he found compelling. He is a Republican for reasons of self-image, apparently, but he can not articulate in terms of principle any other reason. Powell is a very smart guy, and a guy as smart as he should be able to explain himself, but he isn’t doing it.

There is some dishonesty at the core of this, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Exactly!

Colin Powell is an A-1 bonafide member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

So is John McCain.

So is George Bush.

So is Madeline Albright.

So is John D. Rockefeller IV.

So is Henry Kissinger, etc, etc.

And so are many DC insiders who are far more intelligent and well connected than the rest of us.

That is why "they" have agreed to allow millions of the most poorly educated and depraved Mexicans to invade the US, and devastate its prosperity, without opposition.

That is why "they" manipulate energy politics so that the US cannot be energy independent from the rest of the world.

That is why "they" insist the US subjugate itself to the global economic miasma.

That is why "they" manufacture an anthropogenic cause and unfounded fear (otherwise called extortion) for global (warming) catatrophe.

That is why "they" set up a snake oil speaker to be President of the United States.

That is why "they" institgate the mantra of "change" over and over, to pretend that human "progress" is government authoritarianism (when in fact it is exactly the opposite).

You have heard this from The Suntrade Institute.

The Council on Foreign Relations is the most arrogant bunch of elitists on the planet - a feudal oligarchy, so far above "Republican" or "Democrat" that political analysis regarding such is a joke.

Colin Powell: “I’m still a Republican”

I am not so there you go. I would rather be correct in a minority party than a clown pretending there is a difference between the tax and spend repubs and the tax and spend dems. I pray for this Country but its taken 50 years for the education system to dumb down the kids it spits out, 50 years for the media to transform itself into a propaganda outfit for left wing nutcases. In 50 years we have transformed ourselves into a Country that cheered John Wayne and booed Jane Fonda, into one that whould boo John Wayne and elect Jane Fonda to the Senate. In 1980 we voted for a man who made us proud, Mr Ronald Reagan and 28 years later we swallowed back nausea and voted for John McCain. A pro abortion President was invited to speak at Notre Dame while a poll of American Catholics were split over the visit. Clarence Thomas is appointed to the Supreme Court and is ridiculed by African Americans but Mr. Obama is elected president after a distinguished career as a community activist and has known socialist mentors as friends and America cheers. Somehow through this, I am suppose to give a crap what Colin Powell what party he thinks he belongs to. He voted for Jimmy Carter in 1976, so we know what his politics are...I just choose to reject them. May God have mercy on this Country!

“Dick Cheney to Powell: ‘He’s already out”

I took that as a joke, but Powell Is too wooden (much like Gore) to understand it as being such.

Shockingly as this may seem the moderate, Powell is also rabidly for reverse discrimination. Obama is his affirmative action President.

In the nineties he was biting at our heals screeching for the Left’s cameras that there is only one way we can ever win an election. That is we must overcome our “hate” and give balck and brown skinned people preferences and socialist free stuff programs. We must squelch and punish anyone who does not agree with Colin or we will never win an election again.

Obama is his affirmative action President.

...not surprising for the affirmative action General who coasted to the top on his racial status. If Powell were white, he'd never made it past colonel. ROTC guys just don't make it to 4 stars and Chair the JCS. At least if you're white.

Powell is a pu$$y. He was against Liberating Kuwait. He was all for letting Saddam have it, but placing sanctions on him, (we all know how well that worked later, don't we) as well as sending him a very stern reprimand. However, after General Schwartzkopf et. al. destroyed Saddam's army, Powell was happy to take the credit.
