We were so hoping she’d pull through. How awful. Prayers for the Tyson family.
As was I. This is pure speculation, but she was probably already brain dead when she arrived at the hospital and they just waited to turn off life-support until her father returned home and had an opportunity to say goodbye.
I also feel horribly for her older adolescent brother who apparently was the one who discovered her. That's not something that an adult gets over easily, let alone a child.
