Now, I know that Jack, Leonardo, Dyan, Spike, Denzel , Cruise, Bacon and Rock can afford this increase, but what about Sandler? He hasn't done anything for awhile now.
He may have to end up car pooling with Andy Garcia and Ice Cube.

NBA Finals Game 1 Floor Seats Selling For $20K

LOS ANGELES — The Orlando Magic will practice Wednesday in Los Angeles as they prepare for Game 1 of the NBA Finals set for Thursday night against the Lakers.

While there are still some tickets available once the series comes home to Orlando, that’s not the case in L.A. If Magic fans fly out for Game 1, they’ll have to plunk down a fortune to get a seat.
They don’t call L.A. “tinsel town” for nothing. Everything is larger than life and it seems only movie stars will be able to afford tickets to the game. Going rates on the Internet for floor seats are topping $20,000.
For the rest of us, you go to the box office at the Staples Center. Trouble is, nearly every seat has been snapped up by season ticket holders and ticket brokers and they are also selling them at a premium.
For Game 3 in Orlando, about 1,000 seats will be available to the average fans when they go on sale Saturday, but in L.A. there apparently are no average fans.
“The game is completely sold out. If you find someone that’s willing to part with a ticket, you’re on your own. Occasionally, the team will have 100 or 200 tickets they will wind up holding back and they will sell them to fans that line up at the box office,” said Michael Roth, Staples Center.
That happened early Wednesday morning and they’re all gone.
While buying a ticket on the street is always risky, Staples Center directors say they have a big problem with counterfeit tickets and the FBI will be out looking for it.
I’ll be at a Kiwanis board meeting so I will miss more than half of the game. Enjoy it.

Doug, even though the Lakers won big, there’s still some things I didn’t like from LA...those open 3s that Orlando got, they’re due to make some. They started to really force the issue to the hoop in the 3rd...but at that point, it was 16-2 FT attempted, in favor of Orlando.
All in all, I’ll take it. Damn, it’s the one time I have to agree with Pres__ent O...though I picked the Lakers to win the final way before he did...
I didn’t watch game 1 (I got NBATV so I figure if it turned out to be a good game I can watch the replay). I am a hockey fan so I watched game 4 of that series instead. Sounds like the hockey game was beter than the basketball game. I suspect the Laker sweep the first two in LA, Orlando wins two out of three in Orlando and then the Lakers close it out in game 6. Kobe is used to the stage while Orlando simply isn’t. I wonder if LA wins will Bill and Luke Walton be the first father/son combo to win an NBA title.
