I have said this before, but I think something extraordinary happened in 2006, not sure if the left saw their window closing (don’t see any evidence of it) or they just decided the time was right for a full frontal attack. Either way, it seems they have thrown caution to the wind and there should be no doubt about their intentions or tactics, lines are being drawn and everyone will have to decide where they stand.
Indeed. And they are not holding back.
Olbermann was even going to attack Liz Cheny this evening.

Haven’t those in power (with the eager assistance of the media) already declared all of the issues settled, simply by the fact that they won? Has not our media long ago ceased to be an unbiased presenter of any meaningful debate?
It would have been nice to have a debate.
I too worry about what we may wind up having instead of a debate.
