'Proof' of Kenyan birth twice scrubbed by eBay
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | June 27, 2009 | Drew Zahn

Posted on 06/27/2009 2:27:43 PM PDT by Jet Jaguar

Editor's note: Since publication of this story, the auction item has been removed for the third time. None of the item identification numbers in this article remain valid.

An eBay seller who previously promised to deliver a certified copy of President Obama's actual birth certificate – from a hospital in Mombasa, Kenya – has twice had his listing removed from the popular auction website.

In a third listing, however, the seller calling himself "colmado_naranja" has explained why the birth certificate was twice yanked by eBay administration.

"The first cancellation was done in what eBay describes as being in the interests of keeping my account safe," the newest listing claims, referring to the now scrubbed item # 160344374585. "eBay was under the impression that a third party had accessed and compromised my account, that this third party put up the Barack Obama African birth certificate auction and that I had no knowledge of the said listing."

As WND reported, colmado_naranja's original listing claimed, "President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in The Coast Provincial Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya at 7:24 p.m. on August 4, 1961."

Your “Blatino” thing can’t get dumber. And this time it is a no, no PC again. Right?

Apparently you are the one having the problem with skin color/shades.

I am white. My first name, middle name, and last name are English. That makes me a white English Latina according to you and Google. (We prefer “Latin” since we are not into PC.)

The major Indian tribes in Panama accoring to you and Google should be called “Latino Indios Fulano de Tal y Mengano.”

The West Indians who settled here after the canal was built should be called “Latinos Negros del Caribe.”

Nothing to do with being a Panamanian.

Take your pick.

I am an American Citizen. Don’t give me this PC garbage.

You're being patently ridiculous. The term "Afro-Latino" popped up in a web search pertaining to the account name associated with this purported birth certificate, nothing more and nothing less. It was of interest, in combination with the food association of "colmado" and "najarna," in trying to identify this person, and possibly find something out about him or her.

You really do need to calm down. "Blatino" may be dumb, but it's not me calling myself that, since I'm neither black nor Latino. But, there are quite a few people who do call themselves that, apparently.

Go tell them off. I'm sure there's a forum somewhere, where self-identified people such as this can be found in sufficient numbers to be worth your time. Go get 'em, Craig. Tell 'em how stupid they are. That'll show 'em.

That happens with some frequency, apparently.

I price items on E-Bay, but personally have never bought a single thing via it. I've found I can usually locate the item elsewhere at the same or lower price without going through the E-Bay hassle of bidding. Call me old-fashioned.

You’re right, they jumped the shark with increased fees a few years back. Most online sellers have found other, less costly venues, like Craigslist.

Certainly.

Unless, as I noted MIGHT be done, the relevant page had been torn from the record book.

You see, in the day before computing, the keeper of records in most countries, and certainly in any that happened to be under British administration, kept books, with stamped and sequentially numbered pages, in which were bound the relevant documents. Also they were logged and their data; Book no., pages, etc. noted in the logbook. Separate volumes were kept for deeds, records of birth, marriages, deaths, etc. All the records were kept in ink.

The removal of any page would be noticed because the numbered page would be missing. Also, the missing page could be identified by referral to the logbook.

The system was simple and effective. This and similar paper systems remain in use today all around the world. You can be sure that I Obama really was born in kenya, there was a record of that fact, and one that would be hard to remove from the record without a full scale and extraordinary effort to forge and duplicate several documents to create an alternate record book and log.

Wouldn’t colonial era records be kept in London, and not Mombassa?

The name associated with “colmado_naranja” on craigslist seems to be female, and could be the sort of first name more popular with black families.

The seller may be a she, and she may have been able to go in under the radar in Mombasa, and very sweetly asked for a copy of the Kenyan’s birth certificate, succeeding where others had failed.

I hope she’s safe.

Let’s be clear. While I am sure that there are MANY colonial era records in London, they would be reports and statistics. Original recorded documents would be in Kenya, and even then, they would be dispersed among the local records offices where they were originated. Only if a local office were to have been closed would records be consolidated, and then at another local office, the one given the responsibility for the locale in question.

My understanding was, before the election, that the relevant documents were put in a special status, not to be accessed by anyone unless cleared by the Ministry of the Interior. However, now that the imposter has already been sworn into office, perhaps such precautions are felt to be moot.

Remember, for Kenyans, this is a point of pride.

This guy might have the real thing.

I don’t know.

The last time I refreshed it (my E-Bay Auction Thread), it had beed removed due to e-mail addresses shown in the post, from the e-bay source, from her/his letters.

Sometimes I think Obama’s got minions working here at FR as moderators. It really makes me angry.

Description (revised)

Dear eBay Community (sellers and bidders),

Within the last 72 hours I've twice listed President Barack Obama's African birth certificate for auction here on eBay. The auction has been canceled twice now by eBay.

The first cancelation was done in what eBay describes as being in the interests of keeping my account safe. Ebay was under the impression that a third party had accessed and compromised my account, that this third party put up the Barack Obama African Birth Certificate auction and that I had no knowledge of the said listing.

Below are copies and pastes of the three ebay alerts that I received when the first auction was pulled (President Barack Hussein Obama Kenya Birth Certificate – item # 160344374585).

Note that the mid section of the second alert consists of 9 blank lines.  This is the segment of the the message that should list violations of policy. At this time there were no violations. As stated, their reasoning was that an auction as atypical as this must be the result of a compromised account.

I swiftly contacted eBay customer support to advise them of the listing's validity. After 30-45 minutes of live customer support and telephone calls I was able to confirm that I was the account's owner and that I was in fact putting up the auction for Barack Obama's African birth certificate.

With eBay's permission I quickly posted my listing again for Barack's birth certificate. Long night.

I awoke this morning to a healthy looking eBay auction, nurtured by the more than 130 bids that had been placed within a span of just a few hours. The top bid was for more than $2200.  Within the next hour the bidding had climbed to more than $5,500.  I'm not sure how high bids actually went before eBay again canceled my listing.

This time their reasoning for the cancellation was that birth certificates and other forms are government ID are prohibited on eBay. Directly below I have copied and pasted this alert as well. This was in regard to eBay item # 160344928067.

MC036 eBay Listing Removed: Government IDs and Licenses (309576254)

Dear colmado_naranja (XXXXXXXXXXXXXX@VVVVV.com),

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

eBay does not allow members to sell government IDs and licenses, or items that claim to be or look similar to these items. For more information on this eBay policy, please visit:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/government-ids-licenses.html

You can review our list of prohibited and restricted items here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/items-ov.html

Your listing(s) may be eligible for relisting through My eBay. If your listing is eligible, you will see the listing in your Unsold Items page within My eBay. Listings that are not eligible for relisting will not be visible in the Unsold Items page.

To relist your item, sign in to eBay, go to My eBay to your Unsold items, and select the item that was canceled -- it's highlighted with a yellow banner. Before relisting, please make any changes necessary to ensure that your revised listing is in compliance with the law and eBay policies. You might want to check your other listings for similar violations as well.

I'm now auctioning my story (true story) of how I obtained US President Barack Obama's Kenyan birth certificate.

The outset of the story will begin with me entering Kenya earlier this spring 2009. The story will entail all events which have led up to the present day Ebay auction.

The winner of this auction will not bear copyrights to my story. However, along with my story the winning bidder will also take home US President Barack Hussein Obama's Kenyan (African) birth certificate. Certified birth certificate. I am giving the birth certificate to the bidder that wins this auction, which is for my story.

You are not bidding on Barack Obama's Kenyan birth certificate in this eBay auction.

Below is a copy of the my twice canceled eBay auction of President Barack Hussein Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate.

Happy bidding!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"This is auction is for a certified copy of President Barack Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate.

President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in The Coast Provincial General Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya at 7:24 PM on August 4th 1961.

I've traveled throughout the Caribbean (including Cuba), Ibero America (i.e.,Latin America), and Africa. I have a Bachelors in Sociology, a Bachelors in Social Sciences as well as a Bachelors in Afro-Caribbean Studies. I'm a collector of old Dominican and Cuban money.

I've worked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as an advisor in the government's Hydrology & Rain Water Management Administration.

This spring I traveled through Kenya and it's capital Nairobi. I was overwhelmed by the "iconicized" face of US President Barack Obama that displays itself throughout the country. I had lunch at a small eatery and noticed that the Club Sandwich with fried Plantains was now known as "Obama's Plate of the Day."

As an American I was bombarded with questions in english (english is national language of Kenya) on my feelings and opinions of a Kenyan governing the United States of America. The first several times I responded in saying that not enough time had elapsed since Barack Obama's appointment as President of the USA, and that I'd have to hold my official opinion until at least January 2010, a year in office might be sufficient for me to judge his ability to govern the USA.

Natuarally I thought that by "Kenyan" they were referring to Barack Obama's blood, being that his father Barack Obama Sr was a native of Kenya. After a day and a half of my being in Nairobi I learned that they were literally referring to President Barack Obama Jr as being born in Kenya, a native of Kenya. Now I started asking questions, did his father's Kenyan blood somehow entitle Barack Jr to the equivalent of a native Kenyan? No, not all, I was to find out. They were referring to Barack Obama Jr's physical birth on Kenyan soil.

Kenyans were amused at how gullible Americans could be when it came to obvious things like the fact that Kenyans overtly admit to Barack Jr's Kenyan birth, yet the Americans continue to believe that they know better.

I delved further and found that a birth certificate was on file at The Coast Provincial General Hospital at Mombasa.

I know several American expats that reside in Kenya.  I asked the three that I could reach if they were aware of President Barack Obama's Kenyan birth. All three said that they were most obviously aware of his Kenyan birth. I was shocked. They went to further say that they weren't much concerned with it, after all they'd left the US to start a new life abroad and didn't have much interest in what was taking place in the States.  Besides, they said, who would believe them anyway?

Along with my Congolese brother Andylenny (brother in heart, not blood) and a 1993 BMW with only one working door I was off to Mombasa to get myself a copy (certified I hoped) of Barack Jr's birth certificate.

AND THAT BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON HERE IN THIS EBAY AUCTION, CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

I am not posting any photos of the birth certificate here on Ebay. I have not seen this birth certificate anywhere on the internet, to post it here on Ebay would lead to a flood of facsimiles on the internet. This would inadvertently decrease the value of the certificate as well.

In further support of I offer the facts below:

A. Barack Obama (or anyone) has never released a copy of his "Hawaiian" birth certificate. No one has ever seen it. Only a copy of his Hawaiian "Registry of Birth" or Registration of Birth" has been released to the public.  Hey, I have a registry of birth as well (along with my birth certificate). It's funny how a registry of birth is not valid as a form of identification. It can't be used to verify age or identity. Just try to use yours (yes, you have a registry of birth as well) at the DOT or DMV or even at the Social Security Administration if you ever lose your SS card and need a replacement.  NO ONE WILL ACCEPT A REGISTRY OF BIRTH.  Yet the President uses his to verify to all of America that he was born in the United States? And hey, you might say, "What's the deal you conspiracy freak! You're just looking for any reason discredit Barack Obama."  Well then, if it's not a big deal at all, then why can't anyone produce Barack's birth certificate?

B. The Barack Obama Administration, in an attempt to put the birth certificate issue to a rest, has presented the American public with a FAKE, FORGED, FRAUDULENT Hawaiian Birth Certificate in response to a growing number of the American public that have been demanding proof that Barack was born in the US.  Hey, what?  You say you don't believe me?   Just google it!  Jay McKinnon, a Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fake Barack Obama Hawaiian birth certificate.  JUST GOOGLE IT!

Message me with any questions that you might have regarding this auction for President Barack Hussein Obama Jr's Kenyan Birth Certificate (certified Birth Certificate). I reserve the right to not answer specific questions who's answers would no doubt be wallpapered across the internet by breakfast time. I will however reply to all questions. My replies may contain specific answers, and they may not. This will be at my discretion.

If the need arises I may be contacted via telephone. Contact me via Ebay message if you believe that your question or questions merit a phone call.

International bidders are welcome.

Domestic shipping is free, international will be a flat fee of $75.00.  All shipping will be insured, and overnight via USPS, UPS, or FEDEX.  You pick.

HAPPY BIDDING !!! "

It was up to $7,901.00

I wonder if someone paid the $1,000,000.00
or if the sight got overwhelmed and took it down?

If the seller was smart then, what?

If someone had used “Buy it Now” the auction would still be visible, it would just show “This auction was completed with “Buy it Now”.

Here is the response I got from the seller :

Hi, thanks for your note. The $25 million dollar offer stands only if Obama himself hands over his birth certificate. I appreciate your help though in writing to me. The Barack Obama Birth Certificate auction is up again, for a 4th time. The auction number is 160345151420. You’ll probably have to search for it by the auction number as of right now. The auction is still new and might not show up in a listing name seach just yet. However, the listing is titled: Profoundly interesting document found in Kenya / Africa

Colmado_Naranja is a self described seller/collector of old
Dominican and Cuban money.

From Wikipedia: “According to a study by the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute, about 90% of the contemporary Dominican population has African ancestry.”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominican_Republic
