How can any fool who falls for this be so rich?

How hard could it be to pull this off? You advertise this item, some moron pays with Paypal, once the funds clear you clear out the account and close it and make off with the loot.

I think it’s pretty easily implied that you are in fact bidding on a purported BC.

From Plainsradio blog:

Up to $77,877.00 with 55 bids now.

It is going up fast but who is bidding? If its real, the lawyers could get it and it would never come to light for us.

Bidding by t***o, a***o, b***o. Is that Obama?

One of Barry’s rich donors/supporters will end up buying it to keep the alleged birth information squelched.

A certified copy of the original Kenyan Birth Certificate is included....eBay wouldn’t let him advertise the certificate......it’s an end run.

Umm no it isn’t easily implied, dissertation is nothing more than a research article presenting his findings and theory. Somebody is risking a whole lot of money over what could be the ravings of a bored guy.

Eh, maybe, but would you risk $77,800 on something “implied”? I wouldn’t. The past auctions said that it was an actual birth certificate.

From the auction....

"You are however welcome to view my dissertation, in person, before making your payment. Feel free to bring along with you a forensic examiner to authenticate my dissertation."

"You may refuse payment should you find that my dissertation is without merit. Upon request (during in-person viewing of dissertation) all supporting evidence will be made available to you."

Looks like one of the bidders is a big time car collector.

How do you know this? The bidder's identity is kept secret with eBay's user ID obfuscation.

That’s not how Ebay works. After the auction is over you then settle what you owe. So the buyer is not on the hook for anything i.e, the money just doesn’t come out of your account and go to the buyer until you initiate it. In this case, seller says bring the money with you and pay if you want to. There’s really nothing to lose.

The new ‘anonymous’ bidder system has no relationship whatsoever to the actual user name.

I’ve won auctions and the **** that shows isn’t even anything close to my actual user name.

True. It’s interesting, in that his previous auctions and cancellations have generated publicity for him, and it would seem that he’s worked out some kind of deal with eBay that enables him to list what he has in this way. If you read between the lines, he’s using the dissertation as “cover - a legit auction of his own property with the implication that a copy of the Obama BC will be transferred as part of the supporting research. Bidders could be anyone from National Inquirer on down.

‘Thing is, if the bids keep going up, the MSM is going to have no choice but to start covering the issue.’

This story is made for the National Enquirer. They would easily pay 100K+ if this was legitimate. Anyway, we’ll see. I’d be shocked if this were true. If this guy is willing to show it to someone who traveled to see him, then wouldn’t Corsi or Berg make a beeline to this document ASAP?

If its real, the lawyers could get it and it would never come to light for us.

I'm sure this person is covering that possibility. I hope that if they really have it, they would take extra measures to protect something that is worth so much by keeping an extra copy. And, the item up for bid is the dissertation about the birth of Obama--with all requisite evidence attached. And, for the exchange, this person needs to wear a bullet-proof vest and have lots of protection. I am more concerned that the 'buyer' is not a legitimate bidder. It could be anyone...(think troll) trying to stop this from happening.

Hey spinesurgeon, That is exactly what I was thinking! If actually real, Bammy or his shills have equal opportunity of winning the auction. I’ll bet, that he would spend several of Soros’ millions to get it! These days, what’s a few million compaired to the power of the highest office in the land? Damn crooks! Lets just hope its real and one of the good guys gets it! Until then.......

National Enquirer has completely blacked out the eligibility story—uncharacteristically...and the salacious Larry Sinclair story with crack cocaine purchase and use by Obama as late as 1999 ( while he was a state senator).

So not expecting them to jump on this.

( they have let the lesser ‘Globe’ do the work.....it is a tabloid in the same publishing company I think...so they are sneaking these things out but not within the pages of the Enquirer—which has worked to establish more “credible” muckraking rep...ie, John Edwards etc. ) I figure when this eligibility story finally hits the pages of the Enqjuirer, all hell is ready to break loose.
