MONTREAL A man is in critical condition in Montreal after falling off the roof of a moving SUV while performing what may have been a dangerous stunt known as car surfing.
The man's head struck the pavement when he lost his balance.
Police say they are attempting to identify the man, who is believed to be in his 20s.
Car surfing is a daredevil-style of acrobatics during which passengers perform stunts while riding on top of a moving vehicle.

Is it just me, or is there a suspiciously large amount of gravity on top of a moving vehicle?

"Is it just me, or is there a suspiciously large amount of gravity on top of a moving vehicle?" Gravity? Nah...it falls off the top and trails closely behind depending on how fast you drive.

A neighbor kid does this. Oddly, every time her and her friends car surf the neighborhood, the sheriff rolls up soon after. Yet, these morons keep doing it.

Thanks for the clarification. I've heard you're a physics stud, and I did just fine with it in college myself.
I won't waste your time asking for the formula for a trailing gravity field following a moving mass in 3 dimensions.
