A group of teenagers misunderstood a woman's screams during sex and, thinking they were stopping an assault, beat a 25-year-old man in her bedroom, police said.
A 16-year-old girl who lives in the same Torrington home as the 34-year-old woman overheard her and the man on June 6 and rounded up four friends to stop what they thought was an attack, police Lt. Bruce Whiteley said Thursday.
One of the five teens beat the man with a bat and others punched him, police said. The man was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, and was released that night.

Also, Connecticut is a blue state. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer live there.

I expect this one to be pulled in 10... 9... 8...
I hate it when that happens...
What movie was that? Porky’s?
Stuffed an unmentionable in her mouth!
Stuffed a Joe Biden in her mouth?
That was just funny with one of the coaches just losing it.
I’m not clear on why I’m supposed to believe the man wasn’t really sexually assaulting the woman. It’s not like women who have violent boyfriends don’t routinely deny the guy beats them up and rapes them. My instincts tell me that the sort of teenage girl who is sharing a home with an apparently unrelated 34 year old woman who has a 25 year old boyfriend, is experienced enough to know the difference between the sounds of consensual (even if deliberately noisy) sex and sexual violence.
These teens may wanna’ work on their moves. How the hell do ya’ beat a guy with a bat and he gets out of the hospital that same day?
I can completely understand this. One time when my husbands brother's family and us were camping, we all heard the womens screams in the tent not far from us and thought she was being murdered. We listened more intently then realized what was going on.
Either that, or it's another quick cover-up by the Junior Anti-Sex League.
I'm glad they're on the job and undercover, so beware the rest of you (and you know who you are)!
Guys, is it proper etiquette to ask a girl first if she’s a screamer? It’s like you have a whole checklist now before you can have sex with anyone.
Ummm...you never dated the same women I did apparently.
