An autopsy on actor David Carradine has ruled out suicide as a cause of death. Michael Baden, an American forensics expert who carried out the autopsy in the US, concluded the singer died of asphyxiation.
Auto-erotic asphyxiation is among the theories circulated about the cause of Carradine's sudden and shocking death while working on location in Thailand last month. Carradine was discovered in a hotel closet with his neck and hands bound.

"The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe. Now why that happened is still what we’re working on... He didn’t die of natural causes, and he didn’t die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body. "So that leaves some kind of accidental death," Baden said.
The results of the first autopsy on the body, which was carried out by authorities in Thailand, are yet to be released.

Michael Baden is an old and trusted name in this business. Some of the politicians in NY used to hate him, because he told the truth.
I suspect that, whatever the final decision, the moral of the story will be: Stay away from kinky sex.

Seems as though the distinction between suicide and accidental death is sometimes pretty fine. And this would be one very close to the line. I mean, what’s the difference between intending to kill yourself and voluntarily engaging in behavior that has an extremely high probability of causing your death? I know. The sound of one hand clapping...
