I look forward to her joining conservative think tanks, writing commentary for conservative magazines and visiting our troops and taking a leadership role in the conservative movement.
I think she walks away from politics and has a very happy life as a wife and mom.
I am proud of her and support her. She is a great American.
I believe she will assist others greatly in 2010, and will run herself in 2012...and she has my full support.
GO SARAH GO!
This thing has just begun.
Assuming she is running for President, this frees her to respond to the national attacks and try to present herself as the Face/Voice of the opposition.
What makes this interesting is that, unlike Romney, Palin =s ratings. She’ll get on TV as much as she wants.
All that talk about Limbaugh or Cheney being the face of the GOP would change. Of course, the media will continue to portray her as a clueless nutjob.
It will be very interesting, because one thing Palin does is ignite passion on BOTH sides. Which is something none of the other GOPers do.
The gloves can come off now. Look out Letterman! You old pervert you!!
Now she can really tell us what she feels about those IDIOT LIBERALS!!!
Now I think she'll lead the charge of the Alaska Pipeline through all the regulatory red-tape in Washington D.C against the Obama Admin.
Should be interesting if the Obama Admin tries to thwart the pipeline in the regulatory process.
This is a shrewd and savvy move on Sarah’s part.
She is taking control of her future. She will no longer allow evil Demo pols in Alaska to distract her from her goal.
I hope she doesnt run for president. Getting out before her term is done is a betrayal of the people who voted for her. Sorry, there is no other way to “spin” this. Dont run if your going to quit and dont quit when you get it.
We wouldnt give a liberal a pass on this and we shouldnt.
1. She wants out of politics, not for her. In that case walking away is easy, but not what I would expect. There also could be some other things about to surface which she does not want to deal with, this is unlikely IMHO.
2. She wants to do only Alaska politics and has no national aspirations - in that case why quit?
3. She has nation aspirations - but the AK Gov thing is a distraction, it does not add to her appeal. Plus she has to fly for 5 hours before she can be anywhere. Therefore she is either running for Senator or President.
Lastly, after this past week why does she want to be part of the Repub Party? They do not like her and she does not fit the mold.
Could she be thinking 3rd Party?
No doubt this changes the game, she is free to go/do what she wants. Hope she stays in.
schu
I have to say, I’m sad about this. But I’m still very hopeful that she’ll come out stronger. To me she is still the only viable candidate for President in 2012. I’m praying for her and her family.
She'd be a big, big hit with a national talk show -- and a key rallying point to fight being czarred and fettered; i.e., being subjected to the "Fairness Doctrine" and/or forced "diverse" and local programming, a.k.a. sub-prime radio.
She said it: Campaign for non-RINOs.
Next?
The Oval Office, to serve as President of The United States of America.
President Palin. Let it be so!
